JHB workshops in June

 








By popular demand another round of  LET’S GET READY! A Workshop for parents and teachers. Fabulous ideas for 3 to 7 year olds. 75 minutes of fabulous numeracy, literacy and handwriting ideas fun! It is practical, hands on, fun!  It  will change the way you play with your child!

Bookings by email only on  rlighton@mweb.co.za. Please  include your name, date, venue, time and your mobile number. Payment at the door. Cost R100.

 The book Let’s Get Ready! Will be on sale at the special price of R100.

The Olivedale library is on President Fouche Rd near the Olivedale clinic. The library is at the community centre. Look out for the tennis court. Pink building between Jacaranda and Olive Road. Phone 011 4626285

    At our staff meeting we discussed the advantages to each group. The older groups were more inclined to value the book making and egg box activities. The younger teachers enjoyed the advert …identifying different aspects. There was something for everyone. They were so keen at school on Monday to try a few new things with the children.

    You really ran a fun and motivating workshop. Thank you! We look forward to seeing you at your next workshop!!!!

    Hi Renee,

    I Once again just wanted to say a BIG thank you for the wonderful workshop this morning – as you noticed I brought along one of my Mommies (Esther –Her son is enrolled in one of my manners 4 minors classes) and we both really enjoyed it.

    As for me, you were God sent – This Grade 1 thing is really a challenge and as Mom you only want the best for your Kids- you have made my path really clear in terms of how to educate through play and showed me that homework and learning shouldn’t be a fighting battle. You have taught me skills for life that I am truly grateful for, I now know that my child will grow with the confidence she deserves, I left there feeling really empowered as a parent. THANK YOU!!!

    I will for sure be recommending your workshop to everyone I Know.
